Tricia Koning heads up a boutique photography studio in Chicago for the past 20 years.  Her altered processed photography was a result of re-examining the "precious negative".  The images begin with scratching and drawing on positive film. Colorful, painterly abstract photography is the end result. She has exhibit around the Midwest in galleries and art fairs.
