Come tour one of Central County Fire Department's busiest Fireshouses!
The Central County Fire Department – serving the communities of Burlingame, Hillsborough and Millbrae – provides emergency/non-emergency services to the citizens and visitors of these communities.
A private tour will be provided, with beverages and snacks. Children will have an opportunity to visit with our firefighters for 1 hour. During your tour, you will experience the home of the firefighter while at work. The tour includes viewing the fire engine and fire fighting equipment, as well as talking to the firefighters about their job.
Special Instructions
Tour Criteria
- Fire Station tours may be scheduled for between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Monday through Saturday.
- Please allow a minimum of two weeks in advance to schedule a tour.
- Minimum age for tour participants is 5 years.
- Group size must be a maximum of 8 eight children and minimum of 2 adult chaperones are welcome. There must be 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children.
- Fire stations may remain "in-service" during tours. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. Please keep this in mind when visiting.
- Certificate expires 6 months from date of award.
- Winner must contact Inspector Kimberly Giuliacci at (650) 558-7616 to arrange for date and time. Redeemable for Monday-Saturday only.
