Friday, May 20, 2016: May of 2016 marks the 80th birthday of one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever known, the great Bobby Darin. Come celebrate as the CJO along with vocalist CJ Poole will re-create some of Darin’s greatest hits such as “Splish-Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Beyond the Sea,” and of course the classic “Mack the Knife.” This performance will embrace all of the facets of Bobby’s musical legacy, from R&B to jazz, rock ‘n roll to folk, and even country. As an added treat, the legendary comedian Pete Barbutti, longtime opener for Mr. Darin in Las Vegas, will present his unique comic stylings.
