Wheel Kids Bicycle Club Summer Camp

Item Number: 177
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Wheel Kids provides bicycling adventure and learn-to-ride camps throughout the summer.
Winner will receive a full week's registration for Adventure Riding Camp or Two Wheelers Club. All ordinary expenses covered: registration fee, transportation surchage (if applicable), extended camp (if desired), lunch option (if desired).
Adventure Riding Camp is for independent riders age 6 and up. ARC kids are exposed to a variety of bicycle-based activities--daily bike rides, riding skills instruction, bike maintenance, on- and off-street safety skills, share-the-road etiquette, wayfinding, and lots of having fun and messing around on their bikes. Some ARC camps offer a weekly out-of-town field trip to exciting local destinations, while every day at ARC is basically a field trip to somewhere. We’re always on the go, exploring, learning, and having fun.
Two Wheelers Club is for kids 5 through 8 who want to learn to ride or improve on their fundamentals. The emphasis of TWC is obtaining the balance and coordination needed to ride on two wheels, and to master the fundamentals of starting, stopping, and controlled forward movement. But, it’s not bootcamp on wheels. TWC riders have plenty of off-bike fun at camp and on local walking field trips. And, by the end of the week, they’re often ready to take a bike ride around the neighborhood.
Wheel Kids is ready to introduce your kids to the joys of discovering exciting adventures on their bikes this summer!
