Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Enjoy a family afternoon out at the symphony with brunch! Discover the wonders of live orchestral music and its ability to transfer emotions from the stage to the audience at an April 30, 2016, performance of San Francisco Symphony's Music for Families series. Catch the action in private side box seats, reserved only for season-ticket holders.
Curated by conductor Edwin Outwater, this family-friendly performance will explore how music like Stravinsky’s The Firebird and Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony can elicit feelings of excitement and fear, happiness, and curiosity. Pre-concert lobby activities are provided by the Exploratorium and ticket holders receive a free activity guide and materials to enhance musical discovery at home.
Beforehand, enjoy brunch at Toast Eatery, a San Francisco diner serving up classic American breakfasts from omeletes to scramblers to chicken & waffles. For lunch, you can't go wrong with the French dip or Reuben accompanied with their popular Caesar's salad.
