Commissioned for our auction, Abbi Custis' "Salt Water Between My Toes" is an acrylic on canvas painting measuring 24" x 48".
Abigail (Abbi) G. Custis sees the world with an artist’s eye. Working with acrylics on canvas as well as mixed media, she creates paintings that explode with color, vitality and movement. Primarily abstract in nature, her paintings are intensely personal, inviting the viewer into her life and her experience. As she paints, her goal is to translate the beauty she sees – wherever it may be – onto the canvas in front of her. She finds emotional release in her creativity as well as a means to step outside the traditional time-driven boundaries of her busy daily life. Her paintings do not stay “inside the lines”!
