Description
Upper school Spanish teacher and rabbit breeder Laura Chuquin-Naylor has donated this Lionhead/Flemish Giant mix rabbit born on Dec.27, 2015.
This will be a medium sized rabbit, weighing around 7 or 8 pounds. They are friendly, cuddly, and usually enjoy having their long fur brushed. Rabbits are very social animals and need company, making them excellent indoor pets, kept in a cage while no one is home and allowed out to interact and play with their family when home.
They need a roomy cage, big enough to hop and stretch out in, and are easy to litterbox train. They eat leafy greens with an occasional carrot, Alfalfa hay up to six months old and then Timothy hay, and commercial rabbit feed. They also need plenty of fresh water. With proper care they can live 5-8 years.
Mrs. Chuquin-Naylor will be happy to follow up with you on any questions that may arise as your bunny grows.
