One Healing Touch/Reiki treatment by Laura and Rhudy Naylor

Healing Touch is an energy based therapeutic approach to healing, and begun by a Registered Nurse, Janet Mentgen, in 1991.  HT uses touch to influence the energy system thus affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing.  The goal in HT is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system to help the person to self heal.

Reiki was re-discovered in the late 1800’s by Dr. Mikao Usui, a spiritual healer.  The practice originated in ancient Tibet as the art and science of spiritual self-improvement.  The name “Reiki” means “Universal Life Force Energy.”  Reiki practitioners learn to tap into this energy and allow it to flow into others, giving them the energy to heal.
