Small leather pouch (approximately 5" square, 2" deep) features a hand-tooled, dyed and painted portrait of a tall-standing Airedale terrier dog on its flap. This pouch has a metal clip to allow it to hang from waistband or belt and contains a velcro closure. The pouch is handy to carry treats, waste bags or other dog walking necessities as well as your important day-to-day items, such as keys and a phone.

Pictured on this pouch is a proud Airedale terrier who looks alert and confident. He is standing before a green background, and the body of the pouch is a shiny brown finish.

Special Instructions

Dimensions: 5" square, 2" deep

Hand tooling of leather involves first scribing a design on wet leather with a stylus. While the leather is still damp, the design is then carved into the leather with a sharp knife. Then a series of small tools are used to punch down, lift up and otherwise "sculpt" the design to give it a 3-D effect. Once the leather is dry, dyes are applied to bring a life-like appearance to the design. A leather varnish is then applied to protect the work.
