Up close and personal – here’s your chance to learn more about the extraordinary relationship between a Seeing Eye dog and its blind handler!   You and your choice of three others will have the opportunity to follow Seeing Eye graduate Ginger Kutsch and her Seeing Eye dog Willa as they lead your group through the streets of Morristown. Each Participant will wear a radio headset linked to the blind handler. As you travel over one of the very paths where all Seeing Eye dogs are trained, Ginger will share her perspective on what it’s like to navigate the city streets without sight; how Seeing Eye dog and handler communicate with one another; what environmental clues can provide assistance to a blind person; and more. Near the end of the route, the group will gather in a local coffee shop for a complimentary beverage and pastry of their choice. Participants will be able to ask questions and discuss the trip with the blind handler.
