In this workshop led by artist and GHS parent Marsha Cottrell, your child will enjoy drawing from observation within the pages of a simple, large-format sketchbook that they assemble. Complex natural objects will be made available for still-life material, and will offer kids an opportunity to become absorbed in looking and drawing as separate but ultimately linked, processes. Emphasis will be on encouraging children to record what they see, while exploring the expressive possibilities of line.

Materials will be provided for this workshop, best for 8-10 year olds.  Date and location of the class will be determined based on availability of Marsha and winners.
