Chanticleer's "Riserva" is the winery's version of the Super-Tuscan style wines that have become extremely popular.  The 2012 Riserva is a delicious blend that combines the best of the aromatic and medium-bodied Sangiovese with the brawny and full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sangiovese adds fruit and makes it approachable and the Cabernet adds body which makes the wine even more age-worthy. It is densely hued and full of ripe blackberry and red cherry on the palate and maple and sandalwood on the nose.
