Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Another not-to-be-missed Cabernets from Napa Valley!  This wine sports a plush interior and wide array of currants, berries, black truffle and mocha aromas. The steering, gearbox and brakes work together seamlessly, and the experience is competent and rewarding under all road conditions. With plenty of staggered-wheel grip beneath a chassis of fine-tuned tannins this wine displays remarkable fit and finish.  Rated 95 by Robert Parker.

Turnbull Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Region: California / Napa Valley.  Rating 91.

If you haven't tried this black label Cabernet then you are missing out!  The aromatics on this wine are incredible!  Dusted summer blackberries and creme de cassis. Delicate fine-tuned French oak strikes a perfect balance, never overshadowing the fruit. The tannins are silky, rich and smooth, detailing the amazing singularity of the terrior of Oakville. A wine of grace and beauty. Impeccable and delicious. Dramatic and just about perfect.  Rated 91 by Robert Parker.
