2001 Chateau Mouton Rothschild - Extremely Rare Wine
The wine has a lovely, deep, garnet red color and a nose which, though not yet fully open, reveals attractive fruit (cherry, raspberry) with airing, enfolded in the roast coffee, tobacco and spice notes of refined oak. Unctuous on the palate and amazingly supple, it mingles forward tannins, firm but mature, with consummately elegant flavors – caramel, vanilla, mocha, blackberry, wild berry fruit – that ooze charm. The finish, expansive and full of character, expresses all the richness of this very attractive vintage.

2002 Chateau Mouton Rothschild
The wine has a deep and very dense colour, violet shading almost to black. The nose opens on toast and roasted coffee, then with airing reveals floral aromas of violet and lilac, moving on to blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry. Very harmonious on the palate, it strikes a perfect balance between well-structured tannins, succulent yet firm, and a rush of flavours in which vanilla, spice and a touch of pepper mingle with blackcurrant and fresh red fruit. The long finish, candid and generous, reveals a powerful, full-bodied and highly expressive Pauillac.

2003 Chateau Mouton Rothschild - Extremely Rare Wine
The wine has an intense, vivid color with a lovely violet tint. The nose opens rapidly on very rich aromas, combining juicy ripe fruit, blackberry and crushed blackcurrant with more complex notes of fine oak that usher in aromas of vanilla, mocha and cedarwood. Full on the palate, showing roundness and refinement on nicely present, stylish and well-rounded tannins, it mingles very ripe, almost jammy fruit with touches of toast, caramel and spice, building to a highly expressive finish that has charm, power and length. The style of this Mouton strikes a fine balance between fruit, freshness and elegance.
