1999 Behrens & Hitchcock Kenefick Ranch - Magnum

The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Kenefick Ranch is quite simply a spectacular wine.  The wine exhibits an opaque purple color, and a gorgeous nose of blueberry and cassis fruit, intermixed with melted licorice, mineral, and smoke. Sweet and unctuously-textured on the attack, with full-bodied, powerful flavors that are remarkably harmonious, this Cabernet possesses a whopping degree of alcohol (about 15.9%) that is totally integrated and balanced.  Rating 93-96 (Parker)
