Palomar Mountain State Park camping weekend 

Calling all OK campers! The Peltiers and Baloghs invite you to come enjoy a cool weekend on Palomar mountain Friday July 8-Sunday July 10, 2016! Always wanted to give camping a try, but don't have gear or know what you need? We have lots of extra gear to lend and can also help with rentals if needed. Want to camp but afraid of being eaten by a bear? There has only been one bear spotted around Palomar....and it isn't going to eat you.

We will be staying at the beautiful Cedar Grove Group in a shaded old forest. There is paved parking, kid friendly trails leading out of the camp, clean restrooms, showers (quarters), and a large fire ring surrounded by a deck and benches. Just a short drive away from the Palomar Observatory and fishing at Doane Valley pond. We'll provide a full breakfast and dinner on Saturday followed by a campfire with s'mores (both nights). There are also a few spaces for campers or tent trailers, so check with us if you're interested.

Limited to 17 people (including children). Price is $30 per person and includes camping both nights and breakfast/dinner on Saturday night. Pcurchase a spot for each person in your camping group.
