Whether you are a novice, or an expert, enjoy a ½ day of trap shooting OR a ½ day of pistol shooting at the Pearland Shooting Club with Pastor Chris!  Bring your own firearm, or borrow one from the Club.  

Shotguns are available in 12 or 20 gauge.  Although the 12 gauge shotgun does have some recoil (kick), the 20 gauge is much milder and is comfortable for youth and smaller framed women.  Eye and hearing protection are required.  Trap shooting is a great way to introduce yourself or someone else to action shooting sports because you can see immediately whether or not you hit the target.  Clay pigeons are thrown in various directions, and the shooter’s task is to break the clay pigeon while it is in the air.  

Pistols are available to borrow in a variety of calibers (.22, 9mm, .45 ACP, .44 Magnum).  Our .22 target pistols are accurate, have essentially no recoil (kick), and are not very loud (although hearing and eye protection are required).  You might want to take the opportunity to shoot a military grade .45 ACP pistol, or even the legendary .44 Magnum (Dirty Harry!).   

If you are a novice, two experienced shooters will be available for instruction and coaching.  Safe firearm handling is a life skill that can pay big dividends.   

If you are experienced, enjoy your time at the range with Pastor Chris and challenge him to a competition!

PSC is the premier outdoor range in this area, with great facilities, and a safe, family-friendly environment.  Bring your own shotgun and ammunition, or purchase ammunition at the range.

DATES AND AVAILABILITY

Dates are flexible, and can be scheduled with Pastor Chris, subject to range availability.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED?

You, and two friends or family members are included (3 guests total).  Each child (at least 12 years of age) must be accompanied by one adult.
