The Works is a hands-on museum that makes learning about engineering, science and technology interesting, understandable and FUN! Bring your family for a day of fun while exploring our interactive exhibits and activities designed for visitors ages 5 to 12. 

Build, design and create as you inspire your child's interest in the way things work

You'll experience:

• Interactive, kid-powered exhibits. Explore mechanisms and simple machines, structures and shapes, and imaging and optical technologies. Kids touch, try, and build as they explore how things work!


• The Design Lab. Try fun engineering challenges and projects with your family. Set your own pace and work collaboratively on self-guided design challenges and projects.  Who can build the fastest paper flyer or the sturdiest magnetic bridge? Try and try again until your creations are just right! Activites change every few months.
