"Butterfly Blossoms"

Like a butterfly, I am growing and changing and finding my true colors in life. I am finding my wings so I can fly and soon be on my way. Each student in Mrs. Colberts class made beautiful abstract scrape paintings using cardboard and squeegees as their paintbrushes. Once they dried, we used a paper punch to cut out the butterflies and then we folded and mounted them in a 20 x 20 framed shadow box. We made 2 separate pieces up for auction, each slightly different but equally stunning and a fabulous keepsake and reminder of our amazing year with Mrs. Colbert.
