Under his direction Blythe Danner won a Tony Award, Eileen Heckert an Academy Award and Bette Davis an Emmy Award. He was nominated for a Tony Award on Broadway and has received three Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards. His award-winning work as a painter and sculptor resides in private collections in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Tokyo.
