Concept for this painting: This older elephant has just arrived back to its herd. We see in her eyes that it's been a long journey, and that she has a sense of relief to know she can rest.

An excerpt from the artist: Roaming Elephant art is about expressing an idea and emotion through color and brushstroke. The idea of using an elephant comes from Ganesha and its Hindu roots. New beginnings and removing or creating obstacles. Both important concepts in my life as an artist.
