The glowing optimism of Dvorak's beautiful Eighth Symphony is balanced by the shattering intensity of Britten's Sinfonia da Requiem, conducted by James Conlon, lifelong champion of Britten's works. Two excellent Loge tickets (Section H, Row B, Seats 7 & 9 - next to each other) on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 8 pm at Davies Symphony Hall.
Inside Music, an informative talk by Laura Stanfield Prichard, begins one hour prior to concert.

Handy tip - Purchase parking ahead of time for Saturday night performances. You can buy a parking pass for $15 from SF Symphony box office and pick it up ahead of time at the box office or have them mail it to you. May need to be obtained within a few days of the performance.
