One very innovative La Entrada student and their friend will get the chance to work in a "Makers Lab" the first of its kind at La Entrada. Ms. Ping and Mr. Kelly will transform their room into a Makers Lab for the day in which the students will be hands on working with cardboard and tools and innovating and inventing things using their imaginations.

If you don't know, the Maker Fair is part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new! As a celebration of the Maker Movement, it’s a friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness. Faire gathers together tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. Makers come to show their creations and share their learnings.

Winners of the awesome Maker Fair at La Entrada is to glimpse the future and find the inspiration to become a Makers themselves.

This event will take place on a Friday from 3:00-4:00 date to be decided by Teachers and winners.
