Description
As a Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate since 2003, the Portland Sea Dogs are a minor league baseball team based in Portland, Maine that currently competes in the Eastern League. As a previous partnership with the Florida Marlins, the Portland Sea Dogs underwent success during a change of affiliation, to their current organization the Boston Red Sox. After three years of partnership, the team won their first title ever in the Eastern League Championship defeating the Akron Aeros 8 to 5. The Portland Sea Dogs have been awarded 2015 Eastern League Executive of the year and 2014 Best Minor League Baseball Town in America.
