Patients receive acupuncture in a group setting at our clinic, located at 2464 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. They receive treatments until their health conditions are fully resolved or greatly improved. Because we have studied extensively in a special distal type of acupuncture style, we can very effectively treat you without requiring you to undress; most points are from the elbows to the fingers, knees to toes, and head, scalp and ear lobes.

Acupuncture is a therapeutic process. On your first visit, a course of treatment will be suggested based on the length of time you’ve had your particular condition and its severity. As you progress with your treatments, the suggested frequency of your visits will change depending on your results. It is essential for us to initially determine, together, a course of treatment that you can commit to in order for you to get better.  Acupuncture’s use can be compared to that of physical therapy or exercise in the sense that the single most important factor that will allow you to achieve the best possible results is to receive it regularly.

We believe you will feel quite comfortable and relaxed being treated among others in our soothing community setting. One of the best parts of our clinic, we think, is that we allow you to determine your treatment time. Most people relax with their needles for 30-60 minutes, but you may stay as long as you like as long as we have room for you, or until the clinic closes an hour after the last available appointment time. Having a community room also allows us to practice acupuncture with a more streamlined approach, allowing us to offer more acupuncture to more people. You can afford to come at the frequency that works best for you, and our clinic is capable of touching more of our community in a positive way.
