Adventure Stage Chicago creates dynamic and transformative theatre for young audiences that activates the imagination, inspires dialogue, and strengthens community among families, educators, and artists. Each Adventure Stage Chicago production is comprised of weekday matinees primarily for school groups, as well as weekend performances for the general public.

We begin every single performance by posing a question to the audience for them to consider as they watch the play. Every show concludes with a curtain conversation, during which we explore possible answers to the pre-show question and encourage the audience to ask anything they like of the cast. This dialogue helps children process the major themes of the play and serves as a starting point for ongoing family discussion long after leaving the theater.

Adventure Stage Chicago is Vittum Theater's resident theater company, and all ASC shows are performed in Vittum's beautiful space, located at 1012 North Noble Street in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago.
