Founded in 1981, iO (formerly ImprovOlympic) is the world famous flashpoint of comic creativity that spawned an entire generation of America's best and brightest entertainers. Some of the most recognizable names in show business trained and performed at iO theaters, including Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Tina Fey, and many, many more.
After almost 20 years in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood, Charna Halpern bought a building in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood and moved the iO Theater to it’s new home at 1501 N. Kingsbury st.
The new iO Theater now boasts 4 theaters, including The Mission Theater (run by improv legends David Pasquesi and TJ Jagodowski), 2 bars, and an expanced Training Center, a kitchen, and an Events space.

Special Instructions
Tickets are good for any show in either of the Cabaret Theaters, or select shows in the Del Close Theater.
Items need to be picked up at Jones College Prep, 700 South State Street, Chicago, Illinois on Monday and Tuesday, May 16th and 17th, 2016, between 8am and 3pm or a $10 charge will be added for shipping.
