Description
Spiral-bound book: "Final Report: Study of Trophic Level Conditions of Walden Pond, Concord Massachusetts." Prepared for Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management, Division of Resource Conservation, by Baystate Environmental Consultants, Inc., of East Longmeadow, MA, April 1995. 111 leaves with several appendices; includes tables and illustrations. The study was funded "to assess the current trophic level of Walden Pond, investigate the potential eutrophication problems in Walden Pond, and develop management recommendations to protect this historic landmark. The protection of this resource is a challenge which must be met, for the water quality of Walden Pond is as important to the cultural identity of this water body as it is to the hundreds of thousands of annual recreational visitors to the lake and its watershed." (preface) The book has only minor edge wear on bottom corner of front cover and is otherwise clean.
