Current exhibits:
Wish Upon a Star: The Art of Pinocchio (May 18, 2016 - Jan 9, 2017). This unique exhibit features more than 300 objects from the film. Visitors experience the pre-digital production processes to explore how legendary animators worked and thought. Enjoy the stunning artwork of Pinocchio!
Mel Shaw: An Animator on Horseback (Jan 13, 2016 - Sep 12, 2016). This features more than 120 works: caricature sketches, storyboards, and conceptual artwork from influential films from Fantasia (1940) to The Lion King (1994). Also included are sculptures, oil paintings, ceramics, iconic toys, and artifacts documenting Shaw’s redesign of the character we now all recognize as Howdy Doody. Many of the objects in this exhibition will be on view for the first time!
