Spin Class – By Mrs. Hicks’ 3rd grade students

Spin Class is an expression of our children's free spirit and energy. Working in groups of 4 each child selected a paint color that either complemented or contrasted the choices made by the other members. Each 8''x8" canvas was then fixed onto the spin art machine and spun around at hundreds of revolutions a minute. The children decided which sequence the colors would be applied but the sparkles were always added last. Once the machine had stopping spinning the result was 6 unique pieces of art that each member of the class was involved in making. 

Mounted and framed in a 36'' x 24'' frame the finished effect is a striking, completely one off art piece that will bring color, movement and a smile to any wall.
