Third Grade Chaos – By Mrs. Hicks’ students

Third Grade Chaos describes this piece perfectly. If you ask a class full of 8-9 year olds to squirt paint over an area this is what you get!!! Inspired by the work of Jackson Pollock the children were asked to select a color of paint and liberally apply it to the board. The result is a vibrant combination of colors which represent each child's voice.

This piece is displayed in a 36'' x 24'' frame with the black background allowing the color selection to pop.
