The parents of ICE 7th & 11th graders Stephen j Shanabrook and Veronika Georgieva are internationally recognized artists who have collaborated with the Comme des Garcons fashion label and were nominated for Golden Lion at Cannes Advertising Festival for Reporters Without Borders campaign. The artists work in varying media, from installations to videos and c-prints. It's a great opportunity to see artworks in process and visit their spacious studio located in the otherwise-closed-to-the-public territory of Brooklyn Navy Yard. The winner can bring up to 6 people to the studio. Kids welcome!
