Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Mariano Franzese has been a hair stylist for over 25 years.  In 1992 Mariano came to NYC where he initially worked at the Upper East Side salon. His lifelong passion for music and art naturally lead him to Suite 303 in the Chelsea Hotel where he worked as a colorist and a stylist for 16 years, and built a loyal clientele. In 2010, Mariano searched for the right salon where he could dedicate himself. Longtime friends with Marco and Leonardo, ION STUDIO NYC was a natural choice. Nestled on a quiet cobblestone street in the heart of Soho’s historic district, you will find New York City’s hair haven. We are well versed in all hair types and textures. As masters of our craft, and through the people we service, ION STUDIO NYC is quietly creating the new Renaissance for fashion and hair.
