Yannick was born and raised in the southern region of France, Montpellier.  He spent his early twenties traveling and touring as an artist/musician in Europe.  His natural propensity for fashion and strong sense of style brought him into the hair industry.  He started working in young and edgy salons in 2006, where he developed his own creative style of cutting and shaping hair.  In 2008 his desire for new experiences brought him to Paris, where he worked under the tutelage of Jean Claude Biguine, continuing his education, learning fresh and elegant styles.  Yannick moved to New York in 2010.  He worked for Biguine’s salon on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, working extensively on his own innovative techniques; pushing the boundaries of hair styling.
