Attention bicycling enthusiasts! Bring your helmet, bring your fixie or singlespeed, bring any kind of bike you enjoy riding. Spend an afternoon on a lakefront bike cruise with Mr. Macias, Mrs. Lavin, Mr. Birden, Mrs. becker, Mr. Blake, Mr. Mueller, and Mr. Denhof. We will depart from Hawthorne on a sunny, warm late May or early June weeknight after our 3:45 dismissal. We will take Belmont to the Lakefront Trail and head down to North Avenue Beach, where we will stop for some grub at Castaway's. We will then head back to Hawthorne for student pickup.

DISCLAIMER: Students need to provide their own bike, in good working order. Students should have some experience riding safetly on public roadways. Students should feel comfrotable with the eight miles combined riding that day.
