Ruth Mankin teaches an Iyengar based yoga. She studied yoga with Erich Schiffman. Erich was a student of BKS Iyengar and the philosopher Krishnamurti. We will explore asanas (poses) combined with the principles of alighnment, balance, strength, flexibility and meditation, using the breath to deepen your practice - mind, body and spirit. We will do some restorative poses to close our practice. All levels welcome.
