Absolutely amazing, large, antique Art Deco sterling silver, amethyst, and enamel, guilloche powder compact, in excellent original condition.  Extremely high quality, expertly handcrafted, Foster & Bailey, antique piece, circa 1920s / 1930s.  A rare find in such a large size, no monogram, meticulously made with guilloche machine-engineering, detailed with black enamel, and a floral bouquet, in a vase with gold vermeil.  It hangs from an articulated ornate handle, attached to a sterling silver rope chain.  The compact opens with a pushbutton catch, with a bezel set, amethyst cabochon, and each compartment opens with an amethyst cabochon (.50 carat total weight).  Gold vermeil interior.  Original mirror and powder puff.  All hinges and latches are excellent.  The tassels are perfect.    An incredible piece that has been well cared for.  Would be the pride of any collection.  We have not polished this for the antique purest.  Measures 4" long, 2" wide at the widest point, and nearly 1/2" (11mm) in depth.  Weighs 109.6 grams (over 3 1/2 Troy ounces).
