"Imagine a school where the cool kids are the chess team" - the story of an under-funded, inner city middle school chess team who triumphed to become the best chess team in the United States.
This evening includes a screening of the documentary film Brooklyn Castle, followed by a discussion with Rochelle Ballantyne, a cast member in the film, and currently a Stanford student, along with Julie Parker Benello, of Chicken and Egg Pictures.
