A priceless collection of poetry, historical fiction stories, and magical realism with artwork: take a trip down the road of enrichment with the Nueva 6th graders. In humanities class, the students have delved deeply into understanding the evolution of the United States and the foundation of our government. While learning about colonialism, the American Revolution, federalism, the Civil War, the ratification of the US constitution, and the Bill of Rights, students have immersed themselves in debates, writing bills, and creating historical fiction stories. The lucky winner will receive a priceless, bound collection containing work from each 6th grade student, memorializing their studies. The book will include poetry, excerpts of historical fiction stories, and pieces of visual art. Book to be delivered to winner by April 30.
