New York Art Foundry Inc. has been casting for professional artists for over 20 years. The foundry specializes in two casting methods: ceramic shell investment casting and resin bonded sand casting for monumental and small works. The foundry commonly pours silicon everdure bronze and also aluminum, pewter, brass, and precious metals.
New York Art Foundry Inc. adapts a minimal cutting approach, pouring large sections to minimize distortion and welding. The metal finishing department is exceptionally strong for fitting and metal chasing. Welded and metal chased areas are virtually undetectable on castings, large and small.
New York Art Foundry Inc. also prides itself in its continual success with experimental and innovative special casting projects. The facility is strong in the area of direct burnout casting of organic materials such as cardboard, wood, and some plastics.
Special Instructions
Distribution Dates: Items will be available for pick up at our storage unit at 43rd Street and 11th Avenue on Thursday, April 21st from 6pm-9 pm andSaturday, April 23rd from 10am to 2pm. Items not picked up during these times will be mailed to the winner at the address on file with Bidding For Good (a standard shipping charge will be charged to credit card on file) beginning May 2nd.
