Go on a Hike:  

There are 50+ wildlife sanctuaries across the state, from Cape Cod to the Berkshires. On the hundreds of miles of trails you can take in ocean, pond, and river views; explore forests and fields; hike drumlins and eskers; stroll boardwalks and gravel paths; discover stone walls and observation towers.

Go Birding:

Despite its small size, Massachusetts regularly records over 300 different species of birds every year. Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries offer excellent opportunities to see and learn more about the birds of Massachusetts, whether you’re on a naturalist-guided walk or on your own with one of our bird checklists
