Circle Z Ranch creates unique, all-inclusive dude ranch vacations for guests of all ages with horseback riding as the principal activity. All-day rides, team penning, games on horseback and a Saturday picnic ride are common. Suitable for riders of all abilities, the mountain scenery can be enjoyed on slow or medium rides along the varied trails.

Your first ride will be a walking ride, so you can adjust to your horse. From there, your riding program for the week will be created based on your desires and ability. On a typical week, a cookout ride is offered on Wednesday, a chuck wagon ride on Saturdays, and another day of either a bar ride, a valley ride, or an all-day adventure. The other days are a 2-3 hour morning ride, and a 2 hour afternoon ride with lunch at the main ranch. Nestled in the heart of Southern Arizona’s Sky Islands, Circle Z has thousands of acres of the most scenic horseback riding trails in Arizona. Guided by expert wranglers, you will experience unspoiled landscapes rich in scenery of grasslands, canyons, and mountain ranges rising suddenly and dramatically out of the desert lowlands. Distinct to the ranch is the ever-flowing Sonoita Creek, creating a lush riparian oasis. 

The Lodge serves as a welcoming area for guests to gather for meals and socializing. The large stone fireplace is surrounded by comfortable furniture, with roaring fires adding warmth and ambience. There are also two colorful dining rooms in the lodge. Three buffet-style meals are served Monday through Saturday, breakfast and dinner is served on Sunday. Using the freshest of ingredients, all of the mouthwatering buffets are created in their kitchens from scratch. They select the finest cuts of meats, and freshest fillets of fish available. Fresh baked breads, pastries, and a variety of cookies are all made from scratch. Alternatives are available for those guests on strict gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose-free and vegan diets. 

You’ll stay in Casa Rosa. Casa Rosa is a Spanish Revival style adobe building embracing a fountain courtyard. There are eight double rooms, each with a private bath and courtyard entrance.  You’ll have an outside sitting area overlooking lush lawns and be in close proximity to the lodge.

Each room has individually controlled heat and air-conditioning, plus entrances onto a porch or patio. In keeping with the traditions of a restful, authentic western ranch vacation, rooms do not have televisions or telephones. There is, however, have adequate cell phone coverage. There are no locks on the doors, but valuables can be secured in the ranch office. WiFi is set up at no charge in the cantina.

Enjoy hiking and birding, there is a heated pool and tennis court. A social hour takes place each evening with a BYOB bar.Circle Z Ranch is open from October 30 until May 7. Your seven night stay is valid for Sunday to Sunday. The 15% service charge is not included. Valid until December 31, 2017.
