Ready to tackle a brand new skill or take your current jewelry arts to the next level? This class was created so students may become comfortable with a torch. (Yep, a torch! But don't worry! There’s nothing to be nervous about...)
In 3.25-hours, the curriculum covers the “how” and “why” of jewelry soldering by combining an overview of the tools, techniques and process + hands-on practice. Each student will use 3 different metals to fabricate textured stacking rings. From there, we’ll move on to more precise ring bands. You should also expect to have fun, meet interesting people and leave with the skills & knowledge to work independently!
Certificate for one spot in the Saturday, May 28th 11am Jewelry Soldering for Beginners Class with the owner of August Axel Jewelry Studio, Christy Sears.
Special Instructions
Safety Requirements (No Exceptions): • Closed-toed, low-heeled or no-heeled shoes • Comfortable “play-clothes”. No flowing sleeves or bulky fabrics • Long hair must be worn in a bun or ponytail • Protective eyewear will be provided and must be worn
Location: The Studio address will be provided to Students who enroll in the class
Tools & Materials: Tools will be provided and materials will cost an extra $25, which is collected in the Studio

If you are unable to pick up on this day, pick up will be available the following day before and after school only, Monday, May 2nd, 8:00-9:00am and 2:30-3:30pm. If shipping is requested, total plus shipping fees must be paid online within three days of auction close, and may take up to 5 business days for processing once payment has been received.
