Farm to Table Camp: Stir the Soup Feed the Soil

July 25-29th 

Do you ever wonder what grandma puts in her Lasagna that makes it so delicious? Come “Stir the Soup and Feed the Soil” and learn to cook over an open fire and in a wood-fired oven. Together we will learn to chop, season, and stir using fresh vegetables and herbs growing in the gardens and forests of the Willowell land.

Our mornings will be filled with cooking and some garden work to keep the land that feeds us healthy, and to keep each other delighted with the meals we make. In the afternoon we will play team building games, preserve foods, press flowers, make natural paint and pigments. Campers will create their very own cookbook to take home.

We will spend the whole week preparing for our final day of camp, where we will throw a feast for friends and family, showing off all the amazing skills you will learn and fun you will have!

When: July 25th-29th Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM

Where:  The Willowell Land in Monkton, VT.

Ages: 8-12

Cost: $250 (includes materials)
