Unwind on Bristol's own Lake Winona in our cozy off-grid cabin. The land holds some of the oldest archeological history of the state. The waterway is a treasure full of vibrant wetland wildlife. Fish, swim, paddle from the dock in summer. Backcountry ski the Hogback Mountains in winter. Tucked away, off the beaten path, yet still a short drive (20 minutes) or a mild woods hike/bike/ski (only 45 minutes!) to town. Vehicle access to camp is by rugged logging road—approach with low clearance vehicles not advised.
This woodsy home-away-from-home is equipped with a wood stove for chilly nights, gas cookstove, gas refrigerator, solar and propane lights, gravity-fed mountain water for cooking and washing, and rustic-chic outdoor plumbing (aka: on demand hot shower and composting loo). Equipped with basic kitchen supplies, kayaks and canoe.
Cabin sleeps 4-5 indoors with seasonal, canvas-wall tent for additional campers.
Experience this hidden gem!
Value of $100 per night. 1-4 nights.
