Description
Voucher redeemable for 2 tickets to California Shakespeare Theater. Valid Tuesday, Wenesday, Thursday evenings, or Saturday matinee. Valid only for the 2016 season (May-October). Voucher must be filled out and sent to CalShakes to redeem tickets.
The 2016 season includes:
- Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare)
- Fences (August Wilson)
- You Never Can Tell (George Bernard Shaw)
- Othello (Shakespeare)
Founded in 1973, CalShakes began as an artistic collective and has evolved into a fully professional theater known for its innovative productions of classic theater. Its first performance was Hamlet at Newman Center in Berkeley, the Catholic church at the corner of Dwight and College, in 1973, at which point the company was known as the Emeryville Shakespeare Company. After several more shows at scattered churches around the East Bay, the company started performing at Hinkel Park in Berkeley in summer 1974. That summer, the company launched a three-show festival in Hinkel Park, as the Berkeley Shakespeare Festival.
With Shakespeare’s depth of humanity as its touchstone, the company builds character and community through authentic, inclusive, and joyful theater experiences.
Special Instructions
Pick Up: School parents (and others who contact us by 9 am on Monday, May 16) can pick up this item at Sebastopol Charter School on Wednesday, May 18, between 2 and 4 pm. Details about pick up location, any additional pick up times, and scheduling a special pick up time will be emailed to winning bidders at the close of auction.
Shipping: If you are not a school parent, this item will be shipped to you at your expense unless you contact us at info@thecharterfoundation.org by Monday, May 16, at 9 am, to elect pick up instead of shipping. The estimated shipping charge for this item is $4.45.
Please note that if the item is a gift certificate, a gift card, tickets, or a similar item, it cannot be insured. We will send it by certified mail. For other items, the shipping charge will include insurance.
The Charter Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
