Description

One bottle of Owl Ridge Zinfandel from the dry creek valley.  2013

Double gold winner at the Sonoma county Harvest Fair.

The wine is as big and red-berry-focused as you would expect: smooth and full-bodied but balanced with nuanced and almost spicy tannins. Dark coffee layers and butterscotch oak notes, a product of aging in French oak barrels, lead into a long finish of jam, tobacco and cinnamon.
