Description
Alchemist Farm specializes in rare heritage breeds of chickens that produce uniquely colored eggs. All breeds are selected for egg laying ability as well as personality.
This auction is for 14 chicks: 3 crested cream legbar (sky blue egg layers); 2 French Black Copper Marans (chocolate egg layers); 2 French Blue Copper Marans (chocolate egg layers); 3 Olive Eggers 2 Heritage Welsummers (light brown egg layers with dark brown speckles); 2 American Bresse (cream egg layers).
All of our breeding groups free range on individual pasture and are free of cages or confinement. We are a humane hatchery and none of our male chicks are culled at birth. We are NPIP certified meaning that all of our birds have been tested free of diseases.
The winning bidder will receive a certificate redeemable at Alchemist Farm in Sebastopol.
Special Instructions
Pick Up: School parents (and others who contact us by 9 am on Monday, May 16) can pick up this item at Sebastopol Charter School on Wednesday, May 18, between 2 and 4 pm. Details about pick up location, any additional pick up times, and scheduling a special pick up time will be emailed to winning bidders at the close of auction.
Shipping: If you are not a school parent, this item will be shipped to you at your expense unless you contact us at info@thecharterfoundation.org by Monday, May 16, at 9 am, to elect pick up instead of shipping. The estimated shipping charge for this item is $1.
Please note that if the item is a gift certificate, a gift card, tickets, or a similar item, it cannot be insured. We will send it by certified mail. For other items, the shipping charge will include insurance.
The Charter Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
