Is your child a future leader?  If your child is interested in being a community leader, then this is a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to be the Mayor of Novato.  Your child will be shadowing the Mayor!!!

Start with a tour of City Hall including the Novato Police Department.  It continues with attending several meetings with the Mayor to learn ‘what the Mayor does.’ The final leg ends at a City Council meeting where you will help call the meeting to order and lead the Pledge of Allegiance on Live TV.  Complete your evening with an inside peak at the broadcast room at City Hall Chambers and get a DVD of your council appearance.

Experience will occur at a mutually agreed upon time.  Recommended for 3^rd through 6^th Grade students, and could include siblings (if middle and high school students (up to 3).  Parents could attend tour and other events.
