Fund A Need – Replace Olive’s “Old School” Message Marquee with a “21^st Century” Electronic Sign

Olive Elementary is a leader in technology in the District, having one of the highest ratio of computers and iPads per student, and boasting new 60” monitors in EVERY classroom.  In addition, Novato Unified School District has been working with Olive parents, teachers and administrators to identify what facilities Olive will need to become a 21^st Century school.  And, in the near future Olive is likely to be the epitome of a 21^st Century school by implementing a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) program. But, Olive is just about the only school that still has not updated its message sign with an electronic version.

Please help us bring the school’s message sign into this millennium by replacing the “Old School” message marquee that we currently have, with a “21^st Century” electronic sign.  An electronic sign will be dynamic and will allow the school to communicate more effectively with the school community, as well as Novato at large.

The cost to replace the sign is approximately $20,000.  Thank you in advance for your generous donation!
